Thank you to everyone who joined us on April 10th for our Legacy Night!
Your presence, generosity, and enthusiasm made the evening truly meaningful, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support of our mission! As shared that evening, our primary fundraising goal was to support our upcoming parking lot expansion project, while also setting aside a portion of funds for the Lauren Hendren Memorial Scholarship Fund.
We are excited to report that, through your generosity, the event raised an incredible $80,000!
These proceeds will fully cover the pre-construction phase of the project, including work by our general contractor as well as essential design and permitting efforts such as discovery, planning, meetings, drain surveys, and site surveys. In addition, your support has funded the construction of 4 of the planned 40 parking spaces!
While this is a strong and encouraging start, there is still important work ahead. Remaining costs include the construction of the other 36 parking spaces, as well as a retaining wall, basketball goal, and landscaping.
